Hard to know if the sellers are shorts or not. Doubtful at these prices unless they know something that most participants do not. Shorting it after it has fallen over 90% would be a lot late and since they are drilling two wells , would make shorting now very high risk.

 IMO it is not shorts, but one or two very large holders who want this thing off of their books.

 Also if you look at most venture stocks, they are under similar pressure.

Investors want only dividend paying real companies now, and specs are under the gun. For how long , nobody knows. A lot will not make it.
