Equal on BNN

Equal on BNN

I just finished listening (belatedly) to the 11:30 am Commodities report on BNN for Thursday March 28.

BNN had an interview with a PI Financial analyst about Equal.  He said that Montclair are the people that originally sold the Oklahama property to Enterra Energy (Equal's old name) in December 2005, at much higher price.  I did not know this.

He did not think that the Montclair bid was serious.  He said their target (PI's) is $6 and that other companies in the neighbourhood were going for much higher on a bopd than Equal (about double Equal's).

He did not make a prediction, but left a strong impression that this is the start and that Equal will fetch a much higher price than the $4 initial offer from Montclair.
