RE: RE: Some real feedback What I and some others like about the Patterson Lake South discovery is the shear zones associated with it. The zones sheared off, causing lots of faulting and cavities with all kinds of things smeared all over the place along the conductor area running through PLS.
Shear zones host "ORE" deposits, plain and simple. The shear zones can be inches wide or kilometers with an "S" wide, flat and sprawling, steeply dipping, depending on how the zone after getting sheared off gets turned and pushed around. Looks like PLS is a monster with mineralization hiding over a large area. The shear zones will provide and display the riches, in the PLS case graphite to leach the uranite from the fluid flow and depositing the uranium in these areas that the drill is now uncovering.
In short, shears zones are a good thing to see.
In todays news release look at what it says about hole # 60:
Hole PLS13-060 was collared vertical and was a 15-metre step-out grid south of PLS13-055. Scintillometer results show eight radioactive intervals of variable size and strength of mineralization, ranging in strength from weak to strongly radioactive. The zones range in width from 0.5 metre to 41.5 metres within a 125.0-metre-wide (133.5 metres to 258.5 metres) basement hosted sequence of alternating pelitic, semipelitic and quartzitic gneiss.
