I recommend that you folks read the 2012 FS and MDA, take a good long look at the going concern section.  Then look at the balance sheet.  I find it difficult to believe based on the last 4 years of operations at MP, current metal prices, and the required debt payments and capital outlays proposed that they can meet their objectives without raising money.  They basically say they will either dilute the stock or sell assets to raise money to continue as a going concern.

 

As far as them selling El Pilar for $150 million.  That seems unlikely, they picked it up for around $45 million when copper prices were about where they are currently.  Nobody else seemed interested at the time and the folks I know thought they overpaid.  Also, if El Pilar were worth $150 million then is MP worth a negative amount of money, the market cap is only 107 million.
