RE: RE: RE: RE: RE: NR aurcana I agree this is a bit of a tough nr. One has to be discerning, and undertand the target of the investigation. The main ore body wasn't the main target of investigation. This is defined already. It's robust, well defined and high grade. They know what they have. They are doing surface driliing, deep under the current boundries of the existing ore body and on strike.
"The main activity of the 2012 Shafter exploration program was an aggressive diamond drilling campaign focused on the near mine environment that totaled 36,000 feet in twenty-nine holes. A detailed map is available at: www.aurcana.com."
They are looking for evidence of "plumbing" leading the the deeper (feeder system), which will point to another whole system,(larger).
"Drill holes were long angled holes designed to bend under known mineralization seeking evidence of a plumbing system and to look for additional potential in previously untested, deeper, limestone units. Major regional and mine structures were targeted."
Dr Megaw is renound for doing this. If he's encouraged, than so am I. They have a 5 year mine life in resource and likely another 5 inferred. There is plenty of time to find more on strike and deeper.
As for the SP, I don't think things will be positive until silver bounces off the bottom, the RS is done, and the quarterly report is out (assuming decent results). I do think there will be quite an upward move once these are done. I share the frustrations of the longs, however I'm holding to a vision of significant upside, and success within 2 years, not 2 months. I'm buying in the dips. Happily
