I find it hard to believe they will get over 10% for just tech and no capital especially if the deal doesn't have exclusivity for the rest of the world. It isn't signed and he didn't mention any terms, so that doesn't mean your assumptions of BXI driving a hard bargain are correct. Out of money doesn't help negotiating.

Canaccord's Elford had a previous estimate of the non-core toasted meal technology (failed technology I imagine since they switched chemicals with a more expensive process)  licensing value of $2/share, but that was before the share count doubled. She assumed a 5% royalty for the bolt on technology to existing hexane plants.
