RE: rumours

RE: rumours

Being  on the long side of both HRP and EOG I am not impressed with rumours about striking it big at this juncture.  This appears to be a clear  pump to try and get interest in these plays and that delegitimizes the veracity of any possible good news that might actually follow down the road.  Correct me if I am wrong, but they can't possibly have drilled more than about 500 to 1000 metres yet there are rumours about a big strike?  Give me a break,  anyone who buys on this basis alone must be a real sucker. Sure it might help the SP in the short run, but down the road this kind of nonsense scares away serious investors and will hurt the SP when it should possibly really fly if they actually do hit.  I would posit that the SP will take a far more serious run if the garbage rumours are kept to a minimum. At the very least I would ask those responsible to please make their rumours halfway believable if they must.   Perhaps others here think I am the one who is out to lunch, but in my experience and over the long run the verifiable truth always wins out.
