RE: RE: SLIP SLIDING AWAY... I am not sure how this will unfold until we see what GMP has to say and does.
If it goes against the shareholders, watch what happens when Waterton tries to fund the sulphide production. It is a small community and the oxides are nothing compared to the full resource potential.
No one may trust them and they are probably not going to be able to put up $ 200 million plus. It is all about confidence and lets see how they make out with their other clients over the next 12 months. They have some serious damage control to deal with.
Todays press release was very factual. It would have been nice to see these facts when GMP offered a funding solution in Nov/Dec. The directors are totally responsible for this.
Waterton should be working with the GGN shareholders to sort this out before it goes out of total control. It could cost Waterton a whole lot more otherwise especially in a small community like the investment market. They could probably be good operating partners with a reasonable agreement.
Their lawyers appear to have done a good job on this to Waterton's advantage but we are not going to forget. The market has a long memory. The lawyers do not have to run next years investment opportunities.
And where were our lawyers ?
