RE: AGM Announced. Should be an interesting meeting.....
On another note:
Staff are being let go now. Mostly support and service staff. Word from the inside is starting to come out from staff let go.
Most interesting piece I heard was that at no time in the last several years since Webb was let go, they have only had between 20 and 28 rigs in Canada....ever. Very interesting!!
My question is why did they bulk up the operations to double, if not triple the manpower if the rig count didnt ever exceed the amount they had when they operated with minimal staff....answer is simple to me.....laziness and personal agendas, Nunez made sure that they hired enough people to do the jobs he didnt want to do, and make sure he didnt have to service the field anymore......well, mission acomplished. Too bad it was at the expence of the company.
Operations was burning through capital at a Gianormous rate....poorly managed by the person at the top, Nunez. Time to keep cutting the fat and put someone in operations with fiscal responibilities and management experience. Nunez should be back in a service truck where he belongs, calming down irate operators.
