Chariot v HRT

Mello says in this interview here w.r.t the share price of HRT that the  ”price is important for HRT, in as much as it affects the value of his company as perceived by potential farm-in partners

So there we have it – the CEO of one company sees a direct correlation between share price and farm-in potential.  And what are we looking for right now with data rooms open? That’s right – a farm-in.

I believe that the current share price is more to do with the confidence that PI’s have in the company than the giant oil potential that Chariot BOD would have us believe. One way to get that confidence back is for directors of the BOD to buy into the company now the close period is over. The Chariot Investor relations says its a personal decision of the BOD. Its an obvious answer – but my preference is for a BOD where the key guys running the company have bought into the company on a level that befits a company with this giant potential. It’s your and my company – that shift in power happened the moment that Chariot IPO’d! and I want the guys looking after it to want to buy into it!

I am sure if I was doing the hiring I could find someone who wants to put their crown jewels on the line as much as the PI’s have.

Mello is right. On the other hand…
