The Subsidiary has identified deposits of aggregate along the route and made an application for approximately 32 aggregate extraction permits.

Lou64, you post "the American Congress will not stomach any of Cliffs games". The item you attached refers to pending US Legislation requiring US buying only 'made in the US', using Steel as an e.g..

 

Was CLF somehow hiding that its ROF Chromites, with minimal adding value in Canada (+ maybe also some in the US), would with Cr Ore & all be getting shipped to China to make SS, Alloys, etc to sell world-wide at very high prices and maybe at times dumped in the US, etc?

 

Is your point that PM Harper will want maximum added value in Canada 1st & the US 2nd and ROF control being as much Canadian as possible?
