Executive invest over 140 million soles in Kañaris, Incahuasi and Salas

During the fourth session, the Working Committee for the Development Districts Kañaris, Incahuasi and Salas, in the province of Lambayeque Ferreñafe matrix today approved investment projects for these jurisdictions, for an amount greater than 140 million soles.
Thus, 21 public investment projects will be implemented in the district Kañaris for 40 million soles. While they have identified Incahuasi 18 projects with an investment of 58 million soles and Salas 10 initiatives by about 42 million. All these projects are in the process of feasibility.
Although the requirement is met to make the fourth session of the desk in the district Kañaris the leader of the community of San Juan de Kañaris, Christopher Barrios not involved in the meeting.
Therefore suspended underpinnings of reports submitted Elias Palomino and Christopher Barrios, about the validity of the assemblies of the rural community of San Juan de Kañaris July 8 and September 30, 2012, respectively, around the Cañariaco mining project.
Participants of the meeting, the Director of Social Management of the Ministry of Energy and Mines (MEM), and chairman of the work table Fernando Torres Castillo, accompanied by the Deputy Minister of Mines, Guillermo Shinno Huamaní, and representatives of the PCM through the National Dialogue and Sustainability (ONDS). Also attending this event Lambayeque regional president, Humberto Acuña Peralta, and districts mayors of Kañaris, Incahuasi and Salas. Also, representatives of the executive, local government and social organizations.
The next meeting will be held on May 4 in the town of Marayhuaca, belonging to the district of Incahuasi, from 10 am.
