I suggest you lodge a complaint with the securities commission.  Such a practice of selling to oneself is a securities violation (wash trading).  CIBC is obviously manipulating the market.  The regulators will look at the history since December and act accordingly.

A friend of mine made an innocent mistake of selling shares from his trading account to his RRSP, value of only a few hundred dollars, and his accounts were suspended.  It took him a while to get it straightened out.
