I agree that the only big difference is that Orocobre has secured funding and LAC hasn't.  It's a pretty big deal to have the funding in place to advance the project, and until LAC delivers that, I don't see how the share price can take off.  Mitsubishi and Magna are apparently in no hurry to bring the project online, perhaps they don't need lithium right now.  Since they control quite a few shares, it seems unlikely that there will be a buyout offer from the outside, which probably helps to suppress the share price as well.  If nothing else, it is creating some nice buying opportunities for the long term.
