What world do you live in.  Analysts talk to mgmt all the time,  you think they are discussing the weather?

Generic discussions about the financials are fine,  anyone can do that math.  Doesn't take much to see that given their hedges and planned capex that RPL can afford their dividend.  If they cut it by 40% at this point the market would probably even take that as a positive, not likely to happen.
