RE: Returns Trecker...I can see how they arrived at the returns comments....based on percentages....and still publish what appears to be a credible, factual article.

“We believe key retail partners have seen a significant increase in Z10 returns (a significant increase in returns could easily be...of 200 phones sold, 1 was returned last week and 2 returned this week...which is a significant increase in returns of 100% in just one week ) to the point where, in several cases, (several cases is two in my mind) returns are now exceeding sales, (same scenario....sold one phone this morning and two were returned....returns exceeded sales) a phenomenon we have never seen before,” (because they've never looked) Detwiler analyst Jeff Johnston writes in the report
In response to the reports, the company issued the following statement: “BlackBerry wishes to respond to media coverage today regarding speculation that there have been abnormally high levels of returns of BlackBerry Z10 devices. This is absolutely false. Our data shows that return rates for BlackBerry Z10 devices both in the U.S. and on a global basis are in line with or better than our expectations and are consistent with return rates for other premium smartphones in the market today.”
Folks, they are telling the truth but not providing any information as to how they came to their conclusion. All bull.
Here's my blog which is even more credible than theirs....should be on BNN tomorrow.....In all my checking and searching I have found only one dissatisfied Z10 customer. I can even tell you who he is, how to contact him and what the problem is. This is out of in excess of 1,000,000 phones distributed in 2013. Of all the channel checks I conducted, not one reported any Z10 returns. Amazing reliability of the Z10...with the Q10 to follow. From what I understand, the target satisfaction rate on the Q10 will be significantly higher than on the Z10. All of the preceding is true but what a spin anyone can put on a story without quantitative, substantiated information.
