F1 setup laps and time trials and security

Seems like a great advantage to intercept competitors driver-pit voice during setup laps because these cars are closely spec'ed. Even in the pits the drivers are on-board or close at hand, helmet on, communicating changes needed through their wireless headsets. Has Mercedes mentioned a switch to BES.

Any advantage in this sport can save hours to set up and maybe get you a win.
