RE: HIGH LIKELIHOOD OF SAND SABISA CONTAINING OIL

RE: HIGH LIKELIHOOD OF SAND SABISA CONTAINING OIL

It is pretty amazing how ill informed the market is. A positive news on likely commercial oil flow which adds another 43m net pay to ngamia as well as hydrocarbons indication at sabisa. Unconsolidated sands likely means good porosity n permeability. Johan sverdrup reservoirs were described as not 'oil in sand' but 'sand in oil' with permeability above 10 Darcies.. This could be it or even better.

In my view, source rock likely Miocene with oil migrating up to Pliocene just like Jobi-Rii in Uganda. Meaning more could be found if reservoir rocks can be found deeper. This effectively derisked the Turkanan basins which potentially contains 13bn bbls.. Doesn't make sense market doesn't sees it.. Unless of course market thinks nothing of hydrocarbon indication on logging

definitely add on weakness.. Imho
