Sand streams stopping production As has been mentioned in the past, dealing with Mr. Denver Harris is a pleasure which in my opinion speaks very positively on the company. My concern was at what price would the Sand streams begin to cease/ slow down production.
His Response:
Fortunately for Sandstorm shareholders, one of the key criteria that we look for when evaluating streaming transactions is whether the mine will be a low-cost producer. With the gold price at $1,350 per ounce, none of our streaming partners are in jeopardy of discontinuing production. Having said that, if the price of gold stays at $1,350 per ounce or goes lower, you will see companies revising their spending budgets and postponing expansion programs.
As long as they are producing we shall have Gold to sell.
