SILVER WHEATON CORP. T.SLW

"Silver Wheaton is a pure, unhedged paper proxy on silver prices with a unique business model. The company purchases silver for sale through long-term purchase contracts from counterparties. Currently, the company has long-term silver purchase contracts with more than a dozen mines. Silver Wheaton purchased and sold roughly 28 million silver-equivalent ounces in 2012 through its purchase sales contracts."

That is fair comment Dyson. SLW could suffer if some of their producing mines close or slow down because of the low prices. One of the good things I like about this company is they managed to pick a lot of first quartile cost producers to deal with. The ones that would be shutting down first are the fourth quartile ones. Plus, I am sure a lot of mines suddenly are not profitable at $1350 gold and $23 silver. You will not see a lot of them shut down unless this drop proves more than just temporary. The drop in silver affects SLW but not near as much as the producers as our costs are just over $4 per oz.
