Why Mongolia?

No doubt the recent selloff in SSL has a lot to do with hit in both the gold price and gold stocks in general, but I wonder why SSL would invest in a gold stream involving mining activity in Mongolia? In their Feb 2013 Presentation available on their website, SSL states "Sandstorm's focus is to deploy capital into traditional streams on projects with near term cash flow in politically stable jurisdictions". I don't think Mongolia qualifies as a politically stable jurisdiction.
