Dix like any of his predecessors is a politician.

 

Like many of his predecessors promises are made during an election, mostly to appease voters, gain their confidence and their votes.

 

It's what happens once in office that voters need to evaluate.  Usually promises that are made during a campaign are not always realistic, so once in office a compromise may need to be reached.

 

Will one be made for Raven?  Well first off, CEC needs to get past the EA stage.  I doubt Dix or any other politician will stop Raven now as there is no need to, and if Raven gets past this part, what would make an elected official stop it?  JMO
