The New updated OS I just read an article on Blackberry 10 is upgrading its Operating system, One of the new feature that caught my eyes was the feature where they can unlock the screen using the power botton. I have to say this is the dumbest and most disappointed idea. Hate to say this but we are moving foward with BB10 not backwards, having this feature is like going back to BB torch where they unlock screen from the lock bottom..which was dumb, because it always get unlock when in your pockets or when you are taking out from your pockets. This was one of those unconcerned areas where why torch was a failure. Now bb10 is going back to torch like features?? This is ridicules... Come on Blackberry 10 you are re-designed re-engineered, and re-born, please leave the past behind. Keep moving FORWARD.
Also the article stated that the idea came from user's feedbacks, i dont know how many feedbacks were there about the idea, and how educated the feedbacks were, but I just hope the feedbacks didnt came from ppl that just want to throw any ideas out there to Blackberry and not considering the impacts of it.
