RE: Sell or hold CDI? Im pretty sure it slid a bit just because all the energy and energy services stocks were sliding. This is one of the most efficient drillers from what I understand and is trading at about 7X next years earning and pays a 4+% yield.
The street hates energy stocks and energy service stocks these days -- if they ever fall back in favor the whole sector including this one should rebound.
I think the energy and energy sector and energy service is pretty weak in the summer months. So I wouldnt expect much upside to this in the short term. That being said I dont think there is alot of downside at these levels either as long as the company keeps performing as steady as they have been.
