RPL Annual General Meeting Key Last year, RPL held it's annual general meeting on June 27 in Calgary. If they hold it around the same time this year, that's two months from now. If they are going to remaing in silent until then, the speculation will continue. No one knows what they will do re. the dividend, assets sales, etc. - heck, RPL management doesn't even know - thus the hiring of the financial advisor, so anyone who says the dividend is safe, will be cut / eliminated, what assets will be sold, etc. are just speculating. Now, we can all give our OPINIONS on what we would like to see, but no one knows, thus the uncertainty, thus the price crash. Personally, I don't think any company should be maintaining a dividend if they have siginifcant debt problems. The debt problems must be pretty serious if management is at a loss re. how to proceed and need to call in help to assess the best way forward. How has spring breakup affected production and revenue? What's the expected capex requirements once the breakup is over and RPL ramps up production? What were the maintenance expenditures that were likely incurred during breakup? These are things that we don't know and have not been told by management to date. If management does not present a clear, detailed, honest plan at the AGM with updated, accurate numbers to back it up, this stock could take a beating worst than we've seen to date. Also, I would expect the detailed plan to be posted on their "investors" section of their website so those not able to attend the AGM can bring themselves up to date re. what happened at the AGM and what the plan is.
