RE: Lou

Hey Profit79,

You have become extremely defensive... as though someone else cannot doubt what you have posted...in fact all you have posted is a generic response from a politician, who cannot by-law devulge anything that is material to any case even if he knew it.  What you got is a non-specific response relative to standardized process without any reference to this specific situation.  You could probably substitute the names of the involved with others and the content of the letter would hardly change.

If, on the other hand you had use your deductive reasoning, you would have realized that an application for an easement does not pre-empt the holder of the claims from proceeding with his plans for development...which all a sudden and more importantly brings in the issue of PPP.  I am willing to bet that plans are proceeding as we speak for the drilling to be completed on Black Horse so as to attract a corporate partner for KWG and the feds, so that the PPP application can go forward in the next round in June.  That will be the opportunity for the feds to launch the development of the RR to the ROF without excluding anyone (Cliffs) and/or appearing to favour anyone over the other. (international relations and all that...Keystone-xl etc...)

The answer you got from the MNR and Tony Clement IMHO, merely reflect the fact that they know, in the back of their minds, that it will never get to that.  IMHO the application will become moot when the approval of the RR comes through in the form of a PPP.  In this scenario, even Cliffs gets what they want because they won't have to build it (road), they can focus their $$ on the mine site and then develop BT and BD concurrently, so as to maximize the returns immediately...this last part might save their SP and their company, but not if they have to wait for an easement decision...they are hurting more than any other player involved.

So all this to say that I'm glad you posted the responses that you received, it makes it clear that it clearly is in no one's best interest, to wait for the easement application to be resolved, not to mention the fact that even if it were granted, Cliffs would go bancrupt trying to develop everything that they have promised (tougue in cheek) in their proposal....mine...concentrator...road...smelter = 3 to 5 bils or more...where are they going to get that kinf of coin???

So IMHO the easement application is a moot point and the politicians know it...they just have to wait for it to wither on the vine...they just gave you a politically correct answer, so as not to stir any rumours and not give you anything to hook into...sorry for being the spoiler...I am not putting your credibility in question just the value of these responses in the context of this whole scenario.

Best of luck to you and all KWG longs
