I would rather the deal was delayed a few months than to see CS give the equity partner a huge percentage and a cut of the future facilities.  The reality of the situation is that if a first facility is built then BXI and the partner will be able to fund the second facility on their own.  I'm thinking the equity partner asked for a similar stake in future plants and wanted some degree of control over BXI's intellectual property and they overplayed their hand.

Like I said if the economics of the deal are sound they will find a new financial partner.  If you are desperate for a deal today where you have a minimal stake and end up losing all your equity/ownership rights i'll buy all your shares off you for 1 cent.
