RE: RE: furnace insanity

RE: RE: furnace insanity

Obviously the 300 oz furnace (approx 10 kg) was (likely) left from piloting Shafter and not purchased for commercial production.  Also 300 oz (10 kg) refers to the capacity of this small melting furnace per charge.  Now a charge heating and pouring does NOT take all day, so you could conceivably run say 10 charges per day which would give it  a capacity of 3000 oz per day.  At 500 t/d production that would translate into 2000 to 3000 oz of silver (actually doree) thus quite capable of handling that but not 1500t/d production, hence a bigger one was ordered.  Don't get hung up on inaccuracies stated by the Lenic presentation at the Silver & Gold Mining Symposium.  However I too am very concerned with the major delays and lack of progress at ramping up Shafter.  As for the share price drop,  the same happened before with after hour trading dropping by some 10%+.  So I will wait for what tomorrow and Thu & Fri will bring.

Still very concerned,  Wolf E

And the "production" appears to be still way below the "promised" 600 t/d which would translate into 2400 to 3000 oz /d or approx 10 kg.  Thus 250 kg would represent only 25 days of production.  being "generous'  that would make it one month worth but not three.
