RE: Re: Resource Estimate Hello Tiger,
In my opinion approval of the MCP would be a more important step for NGC to proceed with the mine construction. They are shovel-ready and have lined up enough resource (equipment and cash) to start clearing the site. Agree that it's important to revise the resource estimate based on the results of the new high grade zones. But they have enough graphite resource in the current estimate to proceed with the mine as described in the BFS. NGC know where high grades are, and will start at these locations. High grades will reduce the production cost, and will improve the profit margin. As I see it NGC has enough graphite to last for more than 20yrs. The high grades would only help improving the economics.
I have written to Premier Wynne indicating the importance of the MCP and ask for her assistance in expediting the review and approval. Apparently rumour was: "not enough staff" to handle the review work load.
I would suggest that all of us take some time to write the Premier as well. And that would help NGC to get that piece of paper. Some text is suggested below for your modification. Undoubtedly, NGC Management would be pleased to receive our assistance.
By the way, if you have others who would agree with the letter, then add their names and contact info to the letter as well...the more the merrier!
If you feel like it, you can pick up the phone and call the Premier Office, in addition to the letter...Does the Government has a Twitter account? If so, Tweet, if you prefer.

"Subject: Northern Graphite Corporation - Mine Closure Plan (MCP)
A major permit is for the Mine Closure Plan (MCP). The MCP was submitted, by Nothern Graphite Corporation, on Oct 31 and it is supposed to be a 45 day process. This is a straightforward project with no environmental red flags and strong community/first nations support. So far the MCP has not been approved, apparently due to lack of staff resource in the
Fast tracking of straight projects such as NGC at Bissett Creek, by providing extra staff for the review, would serve as an excellent example to show that Ontario is a friendly jurisdiction for mining exploration and development."

Minister Michael Gravelle, Minister of Northern Development and Mines is responsible for this file. You can ask the Premier Office to forward a copy to him. It's always good to start at the top.
