What is really sad is that they didn't learn anything from that experience. These juniors have been struggling for the last few years after rebounding nicely from the 2008 crash so why keep blowing money.
They seen first hand just 5 years ago how impossible it was to raise any capital and eventually ended up losing the San Agustin property. Why over the last year or so these guys didn't simply keep the property on care and matienence I'll never understand.
How many times do you have to put out a totally positive news release and get zero price appreciation before it sinks in to you that your wasting company funds. I simply don't think we would be trading any lower, and you could argue we may be higher if they didn't blow so much cash in an environment that isn't rewarding ANY good news.
I don't know about you but I would perfer that GIX still had $10-12M in the till instead of a PFS that the market was telling them a year ago they didn't care about.
I'm a patient guy so I'm hoping they still do that, just play dead and save any cash left until things improve. I really don't want them to attempt any financing at this range even if they could.
Seriously guys they could put out news tomorrow that they found another 1M oz of gold and it ain't gonna move. The juniors are dead right now so save your cash........if they have any left.
