Totally agree - unbelieveable that Trent can't figure this out or get his head out of the sand.  The market environment is not the same as in the past - it's a new market environment so adapt or sell the company.  How much time does management need to figure this out - it is not a short term shift in thinking.

Strategy: offer a dividend, reduce capital program and when stock price goes up, grow through acquistion plus moderate growth via internally generated funds.  

In my opinion, the stock price would quickly move up if LEG even offered a 3% dividend.  I don't think a 7% is needed as the market would find this strategy different than some others (e.g. smaller dividend with larger growth strategy - most important, shorts would be gone and institutions would be back as they would be paid to wait!  H
