Egyptian,

When management misses production estimates year after year after year I believe it is time for new management.  Either they are in charge and accountable or merely custodians in charge of investor relations.  If the former then they should be  evaluated by the yardstick of operational performance and reliability if the latter they should be evaluated by the financial community and compensated as such.  What we seem to have is a team that is not particularly good at either. Not only does the production problem seem to bounce around like a yo-yo we never really understand why or what the specific problems are.  We get a placating statement like it will take time etc.  Wouldn't you like specifics?

i believe Syncrude will eventually perform as expected and when it does the sell- side analysts will jump on board and the dividends and share price will increase substantially.  The question is what does COS do and need to support itself as a distributor of Syncrude information?

I remain  a long-term bull, albit frustrated!
