RE: RE: Momentum Lol, not quite. Sorry to disappoint you, but I still don't own Wpx and have no plans to ever buy it.
I would still prefer to see this get up to a higher level so shareholders can get out or break even.
i post here believing that the sp is going to .25, and I can't see a mine that has such high costs being built in the current climate.
But all of the above that I have said(and previously), with the exception of managements record of spending, is Purely to do with the enviorment and market as I see it.
Wpx has an absolutely top class reserve/resource. Based on the fact that environmental and BFS have been completed, this, in a fair world, should be reflected in a higher sp.
in fact if this was 2009/2010 again, this would be bought out at $2 easy.
if the worlds nations were not so poor at at forward planning, I believe we would see a higher sp.
i think that by Jan 1st 2014 the Sp will be in low 30's or high 20's.
That's not fair, and it should be worth more than that. In fact, I would argue, if I was an Indian or Chinese government official that they should try to buy Wpx for .80-$1 and just sit on it for 10 years, cos it is a great resource. Heck, it would be worth it just as a negotiation tactic with Canpotex.
But unfortunately, with what I see in the world I don't see that occurring. Fair? Nope. Is it a reflection of the facts I see in the world, in my opinion, yes 100%.
A $5 Billion commitment by an entity, with or without government support, just can't see it happening.
But my opinion is just that of one person, and I can be wrong just like the next person. I hope I am
