Le premier ministre Stephen Harper sera à Québec aujourd'hui. Il doit faire une annonce importante concernant la firme CO2 Solutions spécialisée en technologie verte.

L'entreprise a développé une technique de capture du carbone à l'aide d'enzymes. En début d'année, le gouvernement fédéral a versé une subvention de près de 5 millions de dollars pour tester sa technologie dans les sables bitumineux en Alberta.

CO2 Solutions a conclu une entente avec un consortium de compagnies pétrolières. La firme de Québec doit installé une usine pilote en Alberta pour implanter sa technologie.

Les ministres conservateurs Christian Paradis et Steven Blaney seront aussi présents au point de presse à 11 h 45.
