RE: Worries

RE: Worries

Amen. I second that. The right man, in the right place, at the right time, is what we need. RB merits great applause and admiration for his accomplishments and genius in getting ORT to where it is. The potential is absolutely enormous. A business genius is now needed to realise the potential which RB created. Perhaps a restructuring of the board would also be useful with more space allowed for international business/financial  management rather than scientific accomplishment. A technical committee could be created for RB and all the scientific board members. RB dominates the present board to a degree that may not be healthy.

I have seen too many brilliant undertakings sunk, at the worst, or held back, at the best, by the people in charge. My personal examples, Railpower and TSO3, are the most recent. Both of them have disruptive technologies. R had a Prius on rails and TOS has set the next standard ( de Novo in FDA trems)  in Hospital sterilization. Happily CLM was on the other side of the balance. One 5 banger can over compensate for several 100% losses.

Cheers
