Au grams/tonne mined & milled

Au grams/tonne mined & milled

On BNN last week, a 'gold expert' showed a grpah which he claimed indicated a severe decline of the quality of ore sent to be milled and gold produced.

His graph showed that on average  the fruit of mined ore; i.e. the gold, has dropped over the past 10 years from arounf 2.5gms/tonne to 1.5 gms/tonne today. This only applies to the major producers.

One poster here about a week ago sneered at the recent production by LSG of ore with 4gms gold/tonne. That graph doesn't make SG look too bad, at all.
