RionRun, the well collapse is also due to the drilling fluid used. They had used water based which is more environmentally friendly. Note that they went in blind on this well and hence can't really tell why would be suitable. Moving forward, this shd be resolved. Sands problems can be resolved by well completion design I.e. jubilee problem as well which was resolved by acid stimulation. More extreme case would be to redrill and complete the well again. Note that unconsolidated sands can have v good permeability.

I heard a different version on zone of interest hence was checking on which is more accurate.. Regardless, it is positive signs so far.. It will be exciting from here on..
