RE: Anon selling today

RE: Anon selling today

And how exactly is selling at or above the current market price a bad sign?  You realize that everytime someone sells a share, someone else buys it, right?

Are you so desperate to be bearish on this company that you think that the price going up or staying steady is  a bad thing?

"Oh god!  The price has gone up 20% in the last couple weeks, but look at all those people who SOLD SHARES!!! LOOK OUT!!" -  bob

Let my clue you in, bob.  There is more demand for WPX shares now than there was at $0.42.  That's why the price has gone up.  An investor really shouldn't care whether that demand is coming from Fund A or Fund B or retail investor A or retail investor B.  More demand is good - period.  Has it occurred to you that some people may be selling because they bought in at the low 40s, and have seen 20% gains and now want to take some profits?  In fact, some funds may be selling because their investment in WPX has increased to the point where it now violates their own risk management/diversification rules.

You ringing an alarm bell about a sale at/above the current market price is the dumbest thing I've ever read on these boards. Get a grip.
