Short People

Short People

The Street just invested over $40 million in Trimel after full disclosure of any and all legal risks - quite a vote of confidence.  These issues have been disclosed in the case of Tefina for over a year in Sedar filings and are considered by management to have no merit.  The obligations of all parties in the development process of Compleo and Tefina have been carefully contracted to protect Trimel.  Nuisance suits are unfortunately a part of doing business in the biotech world and Trimel was particularly vulnerable while in the process of securing financing.  Finger is correct with regard to the milestone payment.

There will likely be little or no warning before Trimel announces a partnership agreement, and I do believe this event is a 'when' and not 'if' event.  There could be quite a Short Squeeze if short levels remain where they are currently when an announcement is made.  The dilemma for serious investors in Trimel has always been this inability to know exactly when major events will occur.  Do you trade it or do you hold?

The short people are coming out of the woodwork on this Board, something we will just have to live with for a while.  Hopefully we will get more clarity in the conference call tomorrow.,
