Uranium Miners Analyst A good about EFR from : https://seekingalpha.com/article/1418041-uranium-miners-analyst-watch-may-edition?source=google_news
"He [Chang] pointed to Energy Fuels (TSX:EFR) as a producer smartly holding back production in a
low pricing environment. “They can potentially produce more, but have announced they are only producing about one million pounds this year."
Why is there so little discussion about Energy Fuels?
Energy Fuels, (EFRFF) is not only producing 1 million pounds of uranium this year, (~25% of total U.S. production) but it has permitted mines that can be ramped up to 3-4 million lbs per year once market conditions improve.
However, what makes Energy Fuels unique and very interesting is that it owns 100% of the White Mesa conventional Uranium Mill. This mill is the ONLY conventional operating mine in the U.S. It has capacity to process up to 8 million lbs of uranium per year.
Therefore, Energy Fuels could be mining and milling 3-4 million lbs of its own resources and another 3-4 million lbs of third party uranium ore in coming years.
I think the value of Energy Fuels' White Mesa Mill alone covers the entire enterprise value of the Company. In today's depressed uranium spot price market, investors are completely ignoring the tremendous operating value of this uranium mill.
Finally, the Company owns 71 million lbs of uranium resources, one of the largest holdings in the U.S. Energy Fuels is trading at an EV / lb of resources of close to $1. This is well below uranium producing peers.
