BS. Mello has several hundred published papers on oil exploration. He was instrumental in discovering some of the largest fields offshore and onshore Brazil with Petrobras. He was a key stakeholder in the launch of Chariot (HRT were used to affirm the opportunity in Namibia). He is one of the best oil guys in the business - period. 

That is why MM originally founded his own company and raised several billion. On the other hand - who are you exactly? The guy is a machine and will want to be the best in the industry. He is the steve jobs of the oil industry - he will back at CEO at some point. There is oil in Namibia - he knows it and can smell and taste it - and he will find it.
