GTE & TID - MHR & ALPHA HUNTER DRILLING GTE's insider (Jeff Scott) resigned from TID board few days ago to avoid any conflict of interest now that the strategic review has started for TID.
GTE could be one of the suitors of TID as several energy companies have their own drilling subsidiaries to reduce their costs through synergies and get contracts from other E&P companies too.

Magnum Hunter Resources Corporation (NYSE: MHR) announced today that the Company's wholly-owned subsidiary, Alpha Hunter Drilling, LLC ("Alpha Hunter") has taken possession of a new Schramm T500XD robotic drilling rig. The Company plans to utilize the Schramm T500XD drilling rig to drill exclusively Company owned wells planned in the Utica formation located in Southeastern Ohio for the next three years. With the addition of this new drilling rig, Alpha Hunter's fleet has now grown to five rigs.
