The size of the market on the east and west coasts of Canada may not have been very big compared to running pipes north-south. Exporting suddenly abundant supplie of oil AND gas to Asia may change the dynamics.

 

Let's be realistic.Canada is a trustworthy supplier and the U.S. is a trustworthy customer.

That's the way it's been since at least 1814.
