That's one sizzler of a comment and I would think dead on! And as you say, arbitragers remain as such and just move on to another arbitrage deal. The effect of any investors that left UUU has probably already been absorbed by the remaining companies and likely much of it gone to DML, FCU and AMW. Judging by the market, any money that left UUU sort of slipped in quietly, - although it may explain the run-up to 1.26 in FIS just before the deals completion. Any thoughts on that?
One player less is indeed helpful to the remaining plays Still I don't particularly like to jump for joy on the UUU takeout, as shareholders got a raw deal on the privatization. Let’s hope things turn out better for all of us in the sector going forward.
