Time to think Thanks for the posts igold, np. This waiting game is very dull and reviewing why we're here and what the market is like for our technology is a good way to pass the time.
I've been reflecting a bit lately trying to figure out why the company has been so quiet lately.
I know for a fact they are very busy and reassuring longs is going to be near the bottom of their to-do list. I agree it is their responsibility to disclose anything material, but we are likely still in the planning stages.
After some soul searching 've concluded that OPEL's recent dry spell news-wise is either due to the fact that they ares stretched to the limit, or that certain things need to be in place before POET gets advertised to new investors.
OPEL did a great job of communicating once the new BOD took over. Recall that during the solar sale they immediately issued an NR notifying us of delays in sealing the deal. Obviously they would have rather closed the deal and issued an NR to that effect. But once they realize this want in the cards they told us. Previous management would more likely hide the fact of the delay in some ambiguous verbiage.
Subsequent NRs were well written and included highlights of the company's recent activities/accomplishments for new investors.
For this reason, I feel that OPEL isn't in a position to share what is currently going on. This could be either because there is nothing to report (i.e., the awareness raising campaign from Atomic is still being prepared, or is awaiting more milestones) or there is plenty to report and is still being finalized. I won't consider the possibility that POET isn't getting a good reception from potential buyers - we have attracted too much talent to give that theory any weight.
So I'm ready to cut the company some slack, even in the SP continues to slide. The content of fairchij's youtube videos reminds us that the fist part of their very ambitious plan has been flawlessly executed. It's reasonable to assume that they plan to see it through, is it not?
