“Ironically, the BioExx process was developed -- at least as it applies to the bioenergy area -- almost by accident.
"The original invention was developed by a scientist in the United Kingdom, who wanted to extract oil from flowers for the perfume industry, without using high temperature techniques," says Carl.
The technique was patented and now is in use in the perfume industry.
Through a business acquaintance, Carl found out about the process about four years ago and bought the North American rights for areas other than perfume manufacture.
