It's in ruins until the paper market folds. Even then, if the pure evil sociopaths running the financial sector choose to drive all the miners out of business, and then buy up the properties for pennies on the dollar and consolidate ownership under some global conglomerate of their own, the system is so corrupt that they'll be able to do that. There's no hope for the retail investor in this sector, the game's been over for years now.
