RE: In Pursuit of Potash Thing is, it really doesn't matter too much about the other potash juniors. Brazil desperately needs to be potash independent & Verde has the solution for them. Sure, it's going to take a bunch of money & smart engineering but the system is so very much like a cement process...it's just not very difficult to make this happen. We are getting in on the ground floor (price wise) & as soon as we have the Environmental Impact Assessment, the permit to go ahead with this business, Verde will inevitably become a blue chip stock similar to Potash Corp.
Btw, with all this chatter over FLSmidth only being able to guarantee 3,000 tpd, I took the time to punch in some numbers on the old calculator. 3,000 tpd plant working for 5 days a week. (let's assume they take weekends off for maintenance, holidays, whatever). 52 weeks in a year. The annual output would be 780,000 tons. That's more than what Verde wanted to produce in 2015 & 2016 anyway (which was 600,000 tons per year).
Of course, we all know that in order for us to have the bankable feasibility study completed we must be able to guarantee 12,000 tpd, so as soon as we get that other engineering firm signed up, it's off to the potash races.
