timne threshhold obvioulsy some folks have a shorter time threshhold for profit than others... within the context of oil and gas development.. senior producers...and multinationals planned development schemes can often be measured in decades... at the very least they run things in 5 year increments...the oil .. isn't going ANYWHERE... it will be there... and it will generate profit... at the moment Iraq is closed for business to most seniors and multi nationals... the optics for any new government must be maintained... therefore... most of the exploration & development of new Iraqi resources must be conducted under the guise of small independent producers... once the area has stabilized politically.. if it ever does... then... the big boys will just buy out the small producers... Given there may be NO termination date for SNV's exploration licenses... SNV could literallay just sit on those agreements for another 10 years... and since they do have some in country investors... they could offer equity to cover their expenses for that same stretch of time... sure it p8sses off the little guy investor... the stakes arer well beyond managment's concern fo rsmall retail buyers... they are answering to powrs that are nOT in it for a dime here a dollar there... they are in it for MULTI Billions of dollars... and if it takes... 5 years... 10 years... 20 years... what do they care? like real estate... "they" aren't making more oil & gas... leavin git in the ground today.. only means it will be more valuable down the road... and it costs very little in comparison to just sit on it... So.. if you don't have the patience... no amount of compaling in these boards.. or even to the company its self is going to change the current status quo... as always
it's my opinion do as you choose but do your DD
