@Bergie 1978:  I had the misfortune of having these Green Coal 'shares' show up in my RRSP.  Problem arose when I switched my RRSP to another bank, the new bank wouldn't accept them into the RRSP or any other type of investment account that they service.  So the Green Coal shares got bounced back to the previous bank, and the previous bank wants me to do someting with them.  But what do I do?  I can't sell them, the banks don't want them, and I am left with extra costs to retain an account open with my previous bank just to park them somewhere.

Personally, I think Nordic should have issued the Green Coal shares on toilet paper and sent them directly to investors. That way, at least there would be some value to them.
